Day 1 - 2006 World Series of Poker -- Main Event

July 30th, 2006... 

Tim Kelly played in the WSOP 2006 Main Event on Sunday, July 30th.  
He played excellent poker  for approximately 10 hours, but as fate 
would have it, the luck necessary to survive was not there.  Hats off
to Tim for playing on behalf of the FOJF 2006 Tournaments in Jason's
memory.  We're all looking forward to next year and the opportunity
to play it again...!

The following six top ranked players competed in the final 
2006 FOJF Texas Hold-em Poker Tournament:

In a moving and heartfelt tribute to the memory of Jason and his closest friends, after 
winning the final 2006 FOJF Tournament and the prize of a seat in the 2006 World Series
of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas, Nevada, Rick immediately offered his seat in the 2006 
WSOP to Tim Kelly.  Tim is one of Jason's closest friends and an excellent poker player.
We're all excited for Tim and wish him the best of luck in the 2006 WSOP Main Event!  
Tim's progress in the WSOP Tournament will be reported here...  Go Tim...!
