Ceremony of Jason's Ashes
Spreading his ashes to the wind in the places he
loved...
May 20th, 2006
Jeff, Jennifer and Sarah Fadness traveled to Heavenly Ski Resort in South
Lake Tahoe, Nevada. At the site of what had once been his family's dream
location for their winter home, Jason's family poured some of his ashes to the
wind. A little bit of Jason's physical remains will forever rest in a
location that gave him great pleasure.
July 31st, 2006
While in Las Vegas to support FOJF Tournament player Tim Kelly as he played
in the 2006 World Series of Poker, Jeff, Jennifer, Sarah, and family friend
Gretchen, traveled to the Grand Canyon. It was a bitter sweet moment,
remembering the experiences one year earlier when Jason played in the 2005 WSOP
with family and friends present and the trip they had all made to the Grand
Canyon. In an emotional moment, some of Jason's ashes were released into
the wind over the Canyon walls. August 2nd, 2006
More than a dozen of family and friends of Jason were in Las Vegas to
support Tim in the 2006 WSOP. On Wednesday, August 2nd, John, David, Tim,
Kevin, Bill, Craig, James, Johnny, Matt, Sarah and Gretchen made a pact to go
sky diving. While in flight, several of Jason's friends released Jason's
ashes into the wind above the Las Vegas desert. |
